Jeepers, I gotta get this vacation done because last weekend was Ragnar and that’s a whole ‘nother post.
So, let’s see, where did I leave off. I think Blane just left and then I was up to my own devices.
I did a bit of running. I ran over the Narrows Bridge and I ran quite a few times down to Steilacoom and Sunnyside Beach-10.25 miles (when the gps on my phone was working).
This is actually the steep hill down (and up) through Steilacoom
And this is looking down at Sunnyside. It’s really very pretty.
I took several walks around the golf course
Sorry about the sun. I tried to have it be raining but, unfortunately, the entire two weeks I was there it never rained one time. Even though it rains all the time.
I cut a boat load of fabric for my sister in law’s Cabin in the Stars quilt. I got all the darks cut.
I walked in the back yard with Mother, and checked out the scenery
I peeked through the houses at American Lake
See it through there-that’s a lake.
Happy scared me a little.
I went to Martha’s and saw her awesome remodel job, and only took one picture. Seriously….
And-the picture isn’t even of the inside. Ridiculous. That is bad blogging etiquette.
And I ran a half marathon.
In 2 hours and 4 minutes. I was a little disappointed in my time but whatever.
After I did all that, and not in that particular order, it was time to go home. Oh-I forgot one thing-
I went shopping at Nordstrom with my girl Katie R. She is a personal shopper like no other. Really. Like no other.
THEN-
after I did all THAT (and not in that particular order)-I went home.
Waiting for a plane.
…and hanging out at the airport, where they have free wifi-hear that MSP???
So long Seattle….
So long mountains…
Welcome back, Minnesota.
